Mary Ellen Barlow

Mary Ellen Barlow oversees the Transactions department. She leads the team that is responsible for closing and integrating real estate transactions for the CWS Capital Partners property portfolio including acquisitions, refinances, exchanges, loan assumptions, loan modifications, and the sale of assets at the end of their holding period. Mary Ellen's areas of expertise include tenant-in-common ownership structuring and working with high-net worth clients to optimize 1031 tax-deferred exchanges of real estate. Before her current role, Mary Ellen worked on the operations side of the company as a member of the regional staff managing the western portfolio of 20 multifamily properties. Prior to joining CWS, she worked for the Koll Company managing a multifamily portfolio of 20+ assets. Mary Ellen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University and is a Registered Representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority with Series 22 and 63 licenses.
