Steve co-founded CWS in 1977 as one of the three original partners, growing the company from 10 employees to over 800 currently and transitioning our focus from manufactured housing communities to our exclusive focus on apartments today. Steve provides high-level strategies to maximize risk-adjusted investor returns, reviews of all potential acquisitions, dispositions, and developments, and expands capital relationships, as well as being involved in a number of philanthropic efforts outside of the company. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a Global Board Member and former Chairman of the Board of The Hunger Project, an organization whose sole mission is to end chronic hunger in the world. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Tech Foundation and is an active member of World President's Organization and CEO Organization. (CRD# 1901510)
