Property Management
CWS has been building its vertically integrated operational platform over the span of many decades. We manage our properties with our affiliated property management company, CWS Apartment Homes, because we believe that managing our properties from within keeps our investors’ best interest at the forefront of our operations. By providing in-house property management, we can ensure our assets are well maintained and our tenants are satisfied with their living arrangements while also benefiting our investors by having teams with consistent communication and alignment with our company’s goals.
Our property management team is the heart of our business as they operate our entire portfolio of properties. They are responsible for leasing units, marketing the property, collecting rent payments, day-to-day repairs and ongoing maintenance, hiring third-party vendors, understanding local landlord-tenant laws and regulations, and adhering to annual operating budgets.
In addition, property management is supported by several corporate departments including asset management, information technology, revenue management, risk and safety, accounting, capital projects, marketing, training, and human resources.
